Translation & Interpretation Services
Some of Marsha’s translation and interpretation clients are Douglas, Sarpy, and Hall County Courts, the Department of Homeland Security, EOIR, Justice For Our Neighbors, various Police Departments, Metro Community College, the NE Department of Health & Human Services, and Omaha Public Schools, as well as various attorneys, translation agencies, benevolent interests, physicians and private clients. She translates and writes weekly lessons for SCOLA, an educational effort of Creighton University in Omaha NE, and is a published author: her article “Reaching Out to LOTS in Nebraska” was published in the Nov/Dec 2008 issue of the ATA Chronicle. In addition to interpreting and translating, Marsha is a speaker and trainer, having developed several training presentations for those working with interpreters and translators in community and medical settings.
The work of interpretation differs from that of translation in that it is spoken, not written.
